Phiona Bizzu

At the age of 18 Bizzu was crowned Miss Uganda 2012, earning the opportunity to represent Uganda at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, China.Bizzu became known for her resilience, confidence, and passion for uplifting vulnerable communities, drawing from her own experience of growing up as an orphan.

Beyond her reign, Bizzu serves as the president of the Academy of Queens at the Miss Uganda Foundation and she has remained an advocate for youth empowerment, social impact, and personal development. She has continued to support the growth of pageantry in Uganda through mentorship and public engagement, inspiring young women to pursue their dreams with courage, purpose, and compassion while exemplifying the values of the Miss Uganda legacy.
