Leah Kalanguka

Leah Kalanguka was crowned Miss Uganda 2014, embarking on a journey that would see her represent Uganda at the Miss World 2014 pageant in London. A graduate of Computer Engineering from Makerere University, Leah redefined the modern beauty queen by seamlessly blending intelligence, elegance, and a deep commitment to national development.

Throughout her reign, Leah championed agricultural innovation and youth entrepreneurship, advocating for greater youth participation in agriculture through technology, value addition, and sustainable enterprise. Her passion for creating opportunities for young people demonstrated that a Miss Uganda titleholder is not only an ambassador of beauty but also a catalyst for meaningful change.

Leah has built an accomplished career across technology, aviation and public service currently working with Uganda Airline. Her unwavering commitment to excellence and community impact has established her as a role model for young women aspiring to lead with purpose and confidence. Leah’s legacy continues to reflect the values of Miss Uganda empowering women to embrace leadership, inspire change, and proudly represent Uganda on global stages.
