Leah Kagasa

Since being crowned Miss Uganda 2016, Leah Kagasa has continued to build a life defined by purpose, leadership, and impact, she has established herself as a marketing professional, entrepreneur, and advocate for youth and women’s empowerment, using her influence to inspire confidence for the next generation.

Leah first captured the nation’s attention when she was crowned Miss Uganda 2016, before proudly representing Uganda at the Miss World 2016 pageant in Washington, D.C. During her reign, which spanned two years, she championed causes including girl-child education, sanitation, malaria prevention, and demonstrating that the Miss Uganda crown is a platform for meaningful service.

Today, Leah remains an inspiring ambassador of the Miss Uganda legacy. Her journey reflects resilience, and proving that while a reign may come to an end, the responsibility of wearing the crown continues through a lifetime of leadership and service.
